Newborn FAQ

Q. What's included in the session?

A. All the digital negatives and some minor retouching.

Q. How do we schedule the session?

A. The best time to schedule a Newborn session is within the first 10 days after the baby is born. Babies during this time are typically sleepiest and the most moldable. The best thing to do is to contact me with your due date, and we will schedule a tentative date and time. Since babies come when they want and not when we expect, call me as soon as you are able after giving birth to confirm or adjust the schedule. I always leave open time slots in my schedule for newborns, that being the case don't stress about having to change thing.

Q. What if we are already past the first 10 days?

A. You can absolutely schedule a session. In general, but not always if you schedule the session after the first 10 days you may not get you typically squishy newborn photos.

Q. We love you photos but would rather schedule the session at home. Do you do in-home sessions as well?

A. Yes, but I do not bring all the backgrounds and props. Believe it or not I have more then I can fit in my car. If you have your heart set on doing a in-home newborn session, you are more then welcome to come by the studio and pick out some props. If you have any reservations about shooting in-studio, you're more then welcome to schedule a walk through in advance. The studio is kept very clean, while it is a commercial building it feels like home. During the session I will be the only person on the premisses.

This is a list that is very new and I wrote what I find people ask the most about. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them, and add to my list.
